Bio Liu Li, Professor, Tsinghua University, Center of Science, Technology and Society. He got Ph.D. at Peking University. He was a visiting researcher at Fraunhofer Institute of Systems and Innovation Research, TU Berlin in Germany, and Lund University In Sweden. His research interests include the science, technology and innovation policy studies, and systems of innovation, with focuses on Chinese context. He published the books, 1) The Theory and Practice of Basic Research Policy (Beijing: Tsinghua University Press, 2007; In Chinese); 2) The Science of Science Policy (Beijing: Peking University Press, 2011). He published many papers in peer-reviewed domestic and international journals (e.g., Science, Science and Public Policy, Public Understanding of Science). He was the principal investigator of the several projects funded by VINNOVA (Swedish Government Agency for Innovation System), Fraunhofer Society, National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Social Sciences Foundation of China, China Association of Science and Technology, and Ministry of Science and Technology. He participated in several international cooperative projects, including OECD Reviews of Innovation Policy: China, (OECD, 2008). He gave presentations at international workshops in Paris, Grenoble, Berlin, Hamburg, Manchester, Budapest, New Delhi, Lund, Singapore, Vietnam, Cuba and Beijing. |
