Mihaela Toderas, Professor in the field of Underground Mining Constructions, Faculty of Mines, PhD supervisor in Mines, Oil and Gas (Dr. habil.) from the University of Petrosani, Romania, in 2016. From May, 2016 to May 2020 vice-dean of the Faculty of Mines. Since 1997 is Expert Engineer in Technical, Economic and Management of Mining Companies, title obtained after graduating National Polytechnic Institute of Loraine, Nancy – France. She attends to the problems of underground and quarries mineral resources exploitation, stability and reliability of underground works mining, both theoretically and practically; author of several books (3 books published at international publishing houses; 12 books published at national publishing houses) and over 130 papers published in international scientific journals, as well national and international conferences. The topics addressed in the research activity are varied. The scientific research activity has focused particularly on geomechanics, rock mechanics and rock rheology issues, underground constructions, explosives and blasting operations; is a reviewer member of different national and international journals;reviewer on honorary basis of GJSFR USA; reviewer and member of scientific committee of different international conferences.
