For his fruitful activity, Professor O.M. Sinchuk was awarded with a merit badge of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine "For scientific achievements" (2008), а jubilee medal "25 years of independence of Ukraine" (2016), a diploma of honour of the Education and Science Department of Dnipropetrovsk oblast administration (2018), a diploma of honour of Kryvyi Rih city council (2014, 2018) and a merit badge “For merits to the city" (2015, 2019, 2021).

As a research supervisor, he trained a doctor of Engineering, 11 PhDs (Engineering). Systems of distance control over mine electric locomotives were designed and produced as a result of his researches. At several Ukrainian iron ore mines, there are implemented control systems of power consumers. He participated in developing the first mainline electric locomotives at the scientific and industrial complex “Elektrovozobuduvannia” (Dnipro). O.M. Sinchuk is the author of over 500 scientific works including 30 training guides, textbooks and monographs. He has 46 patents and copyright certificates.
