Graduated in 1977 from the Poznań University of Economics and Business with an M.Sc. in economics. She was awarded a Ph.D. in 1985 at the Agricultural University in Poznań. She was awarded a postdoctoral degree in 1996 at the Poznań University of Economics and Business. In 2009, she was awarded the scientific title of professor in economic sciences. Her research interests focus on the organic food market development and changes in consumption in a context of sustainable development.
