Bio Matylda Gerber defended her PhD at Warsaw School of Economics in Poland. Afterwards, she worked for a start-up Symmetrical.ai doing research about the role of heuristics in decision-making of credit committee members and analysts in banks. Before that, she did research for VALCRI program in London about the role of intuition in decision-making of police criminal intelligence analysts. She was a finalist of a competition about using innovative research results in practice organized by MIT and she received a scholarship for the best student paper during the Naturalistic Decision Making Conference (McLean, VA, USA). Her research interests concerns the role of intuition in experts’ decision-making. |
