He graduated in Civil Engineering at the University of Pavia in 2005 with a thesis on wet oxidation process for liquid wastes treatment. On March 2009 he got his Ph.D. degree with a thesis on “Wastes recovery in construction sector: study of recovery feasibility and leachability mechanisms”. From May 2009 he received a research grant supported by the University of Pavia to minimize and recover the residues derived from waste/water treatment plants. He is also doing research concerning the optimization of wastewater treatment plant and the municipal solid wastes collection, transport and disposal.
