PhD in Environmental Geo-Engineering from 2006, Rossana Bellopede is actually enrolled at the Politecnico di Torino as Researcher in the scientific sector ING/IND 29 (Raw Material Engineering). Author of about 50 papers published in international journals, conference proceedings and as book chapters, she is the assistant for the lessons and laboratories of the following courses at the Politecnico di Torino: "Primary and Secondary Raw Materials Engineering" and "Complements of Geotechnic ".

Her research activity has been developed on recovery and treatment of solid waste, durability of natural stone, bowing of natural stone slabs, testing to asbestos content measure.

Actually is a responsible for the coordination of WeCARE Commitment (approved by EIP Raw Material).

She is expert of Technical Committee of CEN 246 “Natural Stone” inside WG2 “Test Method”.
