Mariangela Soldano is researcher in Research Centre on Animal Production CRPA SpA in Environment Department from 2005.

Employment activities in research and demonstration projects, national and international, on biogas and biomethane technologies; on the treatment and agricultural utilisation of livestock manure, agro industrial residues with special attention to environmental problems.

Study and research on  the state of the art of the biogas sector (technologies, biogas plant diffusion), laboratory analysis of biochemical methane potential (test BMP) of different substrates in batch and semi-batch pilot reactors (dynamic and static system). Activities on characterization of residues and organic byproducts from agro-food businesses for processing into biogas and fertilizers; biomass management techniques.

Feasibility studies and monitoring of biogas plants from livestock residues, energy crops and agro-industrial residues and waste.

She has participated in National and European conferences on anaerobic digestion. She is author and co-author of scientific and technical papers as well as in the proceedings of national and international congresses
