Ayona Chakraborty was born in the Kolkata, West Bengal in 1978. She had received both M.Sc.(2005) and Ph.D. (2018) from E.T.C.E. Department Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. From 2004 to 2010, she was with the E.T.C.E. Dept., Jadavpur University as a Research Fellow. From 2010 to 2015 she was a Scientist B in Bose Institute, Kolkata. Since 2016, she has been with the Jadavpur University, Kolkata, where she is currently a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. She has authored or co-authored over 2 book chapters and 20 internationally/nationally refereed journal and conference papers. Her current research interests include Microwave Active and Passive Circuits, Antennas, Radar, Mobile Communications etc. She is Student Member of IEEE and Ex-Vice-Chair of IEEE, MTTs SBC, Jadavpur University Branch.
