Bio Rahul Yadav was born on 1st March 1994 in India. He received his Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), in field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering,from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam technical university, Lucknow, India, in 2016. He completed his Master of Science (M.Sc), in field of Telecommunications Engineering, from University of Jaen, Spain and second Master of Science (M.Sc) in Information and Communications Engineering from University of Applied Sciences, Giessen-Friedberg, Germany in 2018. From December 2017 to December 2019 his research domain was "UV induced losses in optical fibers". He joined Terahertz Devices and Systems at Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany in Septemebr 2019 as PhD research scholar and simultaneously as Guest scientist at University of Applied Sciences, Giessen-Friedberg in January 2020. He is working towards his PhD on "Field effect transistors and zero-bias schottky diode based room temperature terahertz direct detectors for paticle accelerators", in cooperation of both the universities. His current research interests are in the area of broadband & resonant THz detectors, IF circuitry designing, designing of electrical components in mm-Wave range, AlGaAs/GaAs based HEMTs, detection mechanism at Free electron lasers (FELs) and integration & packaging of the THz detectors. His hobbies are long distance running, reading non-fiction books, blogging, hiking, travelling and podcasting (he is host at his own podcast named as "Q-T.A.L.K.S"). |
