Bio

Ana Buesa-Zubiria was born in Bilbao, Spain, in 1993. She received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in telecommunication engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Madrid, Spain, in 2015 and 2017, respectively, where she is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree co-funded by ESA (European Space Agency) at the Departamento de Señales, Sistemas y Radiocomunicaciones.

From 2014 to 2017, she was a Student Research Collaborator with the Departamento de Señales, Sistemas y Radiocomunicaciones, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. From 2017 to 2018, she worked at SENER Aeroespacial, Madrid, where she designed passive microwave devices for satellite communications. In 2018, she joined the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid as an Assistant Professor with the Departamento de Señales, Sistemas y Radiocomunicaciones. Her research interests are passive microwave devices analysis and design.

Ms. Buesa-Zubiria was a recipient of a Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports scholarship for undergraduate introduction to research in 2015.
