Yifang Wei was born in Nanjing, China, in 1994. He received an M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dayton in the USA in 2019. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering at Heriot-Watt University (HWU) as part of the TESLA project H2020-MSCA-ITN, which has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 811232. His research interests include the Multi-layer MIMO beamforming system based on the active phased array.
