Walter Fuscaldo received the PhD in 2017 from both Sapienza University of Rome and Université de Rennes 1 under a cotutelle agreement between the two institutions. Since 2020 He is a permanent Researcher at the Institute for Microelectronics and Microstructrues, National Research Council of Italy, in Rome.

He was awarded the 2nd Prize of the Yarman-Carlin award in 2015 during a previous edition of the MMS Conference.
