Stefano Tebaldini, Ph.D., received the master degree in Telecommunication Engineering and the Ph.D. degree from Politecnico di Milano in 2005 and 2009, respectively. He has held the position of Associate Professor at the Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria at Politecnico di Milano since 2018.

His research is mostly focused on remote sensing of the Earth using Radar technology. His research activities include the development of new processing techniques for Radar imaging and calibration, as well as scientific investigations on the physical properties of natural media based on their interaction with EM waves.

He is currently a member of the BIOMASS Mission Advisory Group at the European Space Agency, tasked with providing technical and scientific advice on the spaceborne mission BIOMASS.
