Tim Grant is retired but an active researcher (Professor emeritus, Netherlands Defence Academy). Tim has a BSc in Aeronautical Engineering (Bristol University), a Masters-level Defence Fellowship (Brunel University), and a PhD in Artificial Intelligence (Maastricht University). He served 20 years as an officer in the Royal Air Force (UK), worked in ICT services for 17 years and as a Professor in Operational ICT at the Netherlands Defence Academy for 8 years. Tim's research focuses on the operations-technology interplay in network-enabled Command & Control systems. He has two PhD students, both studying information sharing in C2.
