Bio Dr. Manzar Ahmed received his PhD in Electrical Engineering in 2024 with research focused on energy trading and power control in microgrids. He holds a Master of Engineering degree from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore. He is currently serving as Assistant Professor at Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi. He has over 20 years of teaching, research, and academic leadership experience, including serving as Associate Professor and Head of the Electrical Engineering Department at the University of South Asia and faculty member at COMSATS University Lahore. His research spans smart grids, renewable energy integration, AI and blockchain applications in power systems, microgrid optimization, wireless and satellite communication, and sustainable energy technologies. He has supervised numerous MS and BS theses and has led projects on hybrid power systems, antennas, satellite communication, and green energy systems. Dr. Ahmed has published extensively in international journals and conferences and authored/co-authored several books on nanotechnology and renewable energy innovations. His recent work focuses on intelligent energy management, AI-driven communication networks, and next-generation smart infrastructure for sustainable engineering applications. |
