Bio Roman Wyrzykowski received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the Kiev Polytechnic Institute in Computer Science in 1982 and 1986, respectively. Since 1982, he is employed at the Czestochowa University of Technology, Poland. Currently, he is a Professor of Computer Science, the Head of the Czestochowa Metropolitan Area Network. His fields of expertise are: parallel and distributed computing, mapping algorithms onto parallel architectures, applications of parallel computing. He actively participates in academic projects in HPC, storage, as well as cloud and edge computing. Since 1994, he has chaired the program committee of the PPAM series of international conferences on parallel processing. |
