Bio

Raquel Palomera Martín (ORCID: 0000-0002-6009-6927)

is Professor of the Area of Developmental and Educational Psychology in the Faculty of Education at the University of Cantabria, where she is a member of the Research Group on Social-Emotional Development, Well-being and Education and of the Psico-Innova Teaching Innovation Group ( VI Prize of the Social Council of the University of Cantabria for Teaching Innovation, 2023).

She has collaborated in research projects with other entities, especially with the Emotional Laboratory of the University of Malaga, Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, and PLAYCOMP. Her lines of research focus on the study of the role of emotional intelligence in education, development and the well-being of teachers and children and adolescents. The projects in which she participates revolve around the design and validation of emotional education programs for school and teacher training (Award of the Social Council of the University of Cantabria for Teaching Innovation, 2023), as well as instruments for the assessment of emotional intelligence. The results of his research have been published in several prestigious national and international publications.
