Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the School of Engineering of Bauru (FEB) at the São Paulo State University (UNESP). Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Faculty of Sciences (FC) of Bauru at UNESP. He was a post-doctoral researcher at FEEC/UNICAMP, later at the Department of Computer Science at the Federal University of São Carlos (DComp-So/UFSCar) and the Institute of Science and Technology of Sorocaba (ICTS/UNESP). He was a visiting researcher at the University of Padova (Università Degli Studi di Padova - UniPD), Italy. He has an emphasis on Embedded Systems, Power Meters, Intelligent Meters, Cognitive Meters, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition Techniques, WEB Systems and Low and High-Level Programming.
