Bio Elif Karaosmanoglu is an Associate Professor Doctor of Marketing at Istanbul Technical University. She is a PhD graduate of Warwick Business School. She has also worked for Middlesex University as a Research Fellow (2004-2006) and has visited Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland (USA) as a Fulbright Visiting Scholar (2013-2014). Her research streams mainly focus on Corporate Marketing and Branding and Consumer-Technology Interactions. Her papers appeared in Journal of Business Research, Journal of Product and Brand Management, European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Brand Management and Journal of General Management as well as in several leading international conferences. She also acts as an ad-hoc reviewer for several journals such as Journal of Business Research, International Marketing Review, European Journal of Marketing, International Journal of Interactive Marketing, European Management Review, Journal of Brand Management, Journal of Product and Brand Management, Journal of Marketing Management. She has served as a member of the executive committee (Turkey Representative) at European Marketing Academy between 2010-2016 and was the conference chair of EMAC 2013 in Istanbul. She also serves as a editorial board member for the Journal of Product and Brand Management. She earlier held administrative role of Vice-dean in ITU Faculty of Management and is currently the co-coordinator of ITU-SUNY Business Administration undergraduate degree. |
