Abstract

The introduction of systems engineering is driven by omnipresent complexity and is seen as critical to the success of the future viability of companies. The empowerment of employees is an essential driver here. The training / personal certification to become a "Certified Systems Engineer (GfSE)" ® according to the regulations of the SE-ZERT® program offers participants a solid background in the theory, concepts and processes of systems engineering according to international standards. It also provides the necessary knowledge for the practical work of a systems engineer. The mission of the GfSE Systems Engineering training was to establish a compatible program for INCOSE certification, which also includes additional elements that were considered as important from the point of view of GfSE e.V.. The SE-ZERT® training program is therefore not the German-language version of the INCOSE certification. It is an independent certification program. The core of the SE-ZERT® program includes 3 curricula (qualification levels), which build on each other. This ensures a continuously high level of quality for further training in the field of systems engineering and thus promotes the path to becoming a cross-industry SE expert. In this paper, we explain the structure of the program and give an overview of the content and further development of the curricula in the content of new technologies.

Keyphrases: Systems Engineering, Weiterbildung, Zertifizierung
