Abstract

Currently, Educational Flexibility is a pedagogical approach that seeks the possibility of being applied in Higher Education Schools. Sharing experiences in this regard is of the utmost importance to establish new strategies that help strengthen the academic and cultural activity of students. The experience obtained in the Center for updating the Teaching Profession, An Institution of Higher Education in the State of Mexico, which serves students of adult age and with teaching experience without the corresponding training who attend from the rural area, has allowed us to identify the educational model that they apply in teacher training, identifying that a traditional model is applied, the same that attends the levels of primary and secondary education, which limits to previous experience. The objective of this work was to make a diagnosis in order to establish a proposal in the training of teachers, for which we supported ourselves with a qualitative methodological scheme that includes participant observation and ethnographic observation which helped us to obtain the necessary information to integrate this study and formulate the theoretical basis corresponding to andragogy and educational flexibility. In the expected results, the proposal is made to resize the educational model that promotes the necessary pedagogical changes in the organization of the curriculum, promoting changes in the administration and in the approaches in order to generate a greater diversification of knowledge and professional skills, with strategies and methods that arouse the interest of future professional teachers.
