Statistical Study of the Perception of Citizen Security in the City of Guayaquil and Its Incidence on Night Fun in Restaurants, Bars and Discos

Abstract

This project examines the impact of insecurity in bars, discos and restaurants in Guayaquil, with the aim of proposing measures that improve security and the perception of it in the citizens of Guayaquil, in these nightlife establishments. The research is organized into four well-structured chapters, the contents of which are described below: the problem: the need for the research is identified, describing the problem and the main causative factors. A general objective and related specific objectives are proposed. The theoretical framework: concepts related to nightlife are presented and all the statistics on this problem from various official sources are cited, the perception of citizens and the theoretical background that support this research are presented. In the methodology, the scope of the study is detailed, the sample for field research is determined and the methods to be used are defined. Finally, at the end of the investigation, the most relevant elements to consider to correctly carry out the development of the proposal are presented.
