Abstract

EXPLORATORY RESEARCH. Review foundations, principles, paradigms, definitions and concepts, related to the Nation´s Competitiveness and Constraints Theory, expose the Reference Conceptual and Methodological Framework to improve, develop and evolve competitiveness, capacity and/or power to overcome environmental situations in the economy of a nation.

PROBLEM: Competitiveness of the Nations, it is a complex, transversal and multidisciplinary issue, causes, consequences and effects are confused, indicators are wrongly intervened. The Reference Framework unifies criteria, definitions and concepts around competitiveness. Is the integrator key factor, to define the Methodological Framework based Constraints Theory, which defines the process to develop Nations Competitiveness.

CONCLUSIONS: Review exposed Referential Conceptual and Methodological Framework related to the Nation’s Competitiveness and Constraints Theory. Concluded that Economy Competitiveness is the power and/or capacity to develop, evolve and overcome the situations in a Nation economy, generating changes in the speed which value is created for citizens, and not only to achieve more productivity, quality or advantages in relation to other nations, but to overcome their own capabilities, by increasing the speed which valued and benefits for citizens, the final output is trueput, which quantifies trueput, in meta units / time.
