LAN Cable Length Meter and Cutter

Abstract

This research presents the design and construction of the LAN Cable Length Meter and Cutter control by using a microcontroller system. With low cost. help the electrician which uses a microcontroller to calculate cable length and operate a 12 voltage DC motor that is used to spin the wheel and cut the LAN cable. The test result shows that this machine can measure the length and cut the cable according to the specified distance which is 5, 50, 100, 200 meters with a maximum error of 6.35%
