Quantitative Phase Analysis by the Rietveld Method

Abstract

This project aimed to analyze the diffractograms raised from three different lead-tin alloys synthesized in the laboratory, being eutectic, hypereutectic and hypoeutectic, with the aid of the Maud® software for the quantification of the present phases. This analysis was tried in the pedagogical project of the discipline Metal Materials and its result was satisfactory, that is, the students were able to carry out the analysis successfully.
