Automated Conductivity and PH Control in a Hydroponic System

Abstract

This work developed an automation project for the control of conductivity and pH of the nutrient solution of a hydroponic system, aiming to demonstrate the advantages that this cultivation method offers in conjunction with automation. During the development of this project, the systems were identified, resulting in the implementation of two control loops using proportional, integral and derivative controllers, tuned through the root locus method. Finally, the result obtained in a real system was compared with the expected result through the simulation of the controller designed for the system.
