The National Learning Service (SENA) is a national HEI with standardised processes, defined structures, organised systems and consolidated repositories, but without a defined strategy to achieve the appropriate appropriation and incorporation of knowledge. The SENA in recent years has consolidated a system of research, technological development and innovation called SENNOVA, which has been successful in generating knowledge products, but without a methodology to manage them properly. For this reason, this paper presents a diagnostic methodology based on maturity scales to recognise the current state of the institution with regard to its KM processes.
