The Effect of Performance of Project Implementation with a Payment System Based on Termin in Building Construction Projects in DIY Province

Abstract

Construction project performance is still based on human resources, technology, costs and payment systems. This research is focused on the effect of the term payment system on the performance of a construction project. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that affect the performance of project implementation with a payment system based on the terms of the contractor and determine the large percentage of factors that affect the performance of the project implementation with a payment system based on the terms of the contractor. Data collection methods in this study are field research and literature review. Researchers get information relating to the effect of the performance of the project implementation with a payment system based on the terms in the building construction project in the province of DIY. The collected data was tested using the validity, mean, standard deviation and linear regression test methods. Based on data analysis done, it can be concluded that the payment is made by looking at the percentage of project progress having a mean value of 2.562 and standard deviation of 0.982 and slow payment procedures because many stages of the process have a mean value of 2.34 and standard deviation of 0.94 and the implementation of project work becomes behind the specified time has a mean value of 2.375 and a standard deviation value of 1.099. Based on regression analysis, the variables that affect the performance of project implementation by 15.9%, the remaining 84.1% are influenced by other variables.
