Submission deadline | March 26, 2021 |
The Workshop on Quantum Internet and Networking (WQIN 2021) will be held in conjunction with the The 30th International Conference on Computer Communications and Networks (ICCCN 2021), in Athens, Greece. All papers presented at WQIN 2021 will be published in the ICCCN proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.
Submission Guidelines
Quantum communication is a rapidly expanding field consisting of numerous advances both in theory and in practice. New protocols, taking advantage of various quantum effects, promise rapid and secure communication. Recent advances in experimental and commercial systems demonstrate that a large-scale quantum internet is not too far in the future. Discovering new ways to harness the potential of large and small-scale quantum networks is of paramount importance. This workshop seeks to bring together researchers in quantum communication, cryptography, and computing along with researchers in classical networking, to foster increased collaboration while providing a venue for researchers from academia and industry, to discuss and present their latest or ongoing research.
We seek previously unpublished work in theoretical or experimental research, along with work in-progress, on topics including, but not limited to:
-
Quantum communication
-
Quantum networks, including new quantum protocols and/or new classical communication protocols and algorithms for quantum networks
-
Quantum cryptography (including, and beyond, QKD)
-
Distributed quantum computing
-
Quantum information theory
-
Progress in quantum computer and repeater implementations
-
Experimental demonstrations of quantum networks
-
Machine learning for quantum computing, communication, and security
