CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS We invite submissions of short papers, dealing with existing and novel machine learning techniques for processing brain data, in particular C. elegans' nervous system data. Topics of interest: Deep learning for nervous system data analysis Neural circuits analysis Behavior modeling Novel computational approaches and algorithms for brain data interpretations Small- and large-scale Brain simulation platforms Optimization algorithms for nonlinear systems Applications of machine learning methods to brain data and cell biology Complex network analysis Cell modeling Cell recognition and tracking Dynamic modeling of neural circuits. Important Dates: Submission Deadline: Oct 20th, 2017, (11:59pm EST) WNIP Submission webpage Acceptance Notification: Nov 5th, 2017 Workshop Date: Friday, Dec 8th, 2017 Submission Procedure: We welcome submissions of 4-page papers (excluding references) in PDF format, to the WNIP submission webpageby October 20th, 2017, 11:59pm EST. Authors should use the NIPS style file for formatting their submissions. Reviewing process will be double-blind. Authors must make sure their submissions are suitably anonymized. All submissions will be peer reviewed, and will be scored based on their technical content. Submission of papers that are under review or have been recently published in a Conference or Journal, are allowed. In this case, authors must cite the original paper in their manuscript and clarify overlapping contents with the original paper.
