The Von Karman Society for Advanced Study and Research in Mathematical Sciences is pleased to announce the 10th International Conference on Wave Mechanics and Vibrations (10th WMVC) to be held in Lisbon, Portugal, during 4 – 6 July 2022.
10th WMVC will be jointly organised by the Department of Civil Engineering of the NOVA School of Science and Technology of the NOVA University of Lisbon (DEC/FCT/UNL) and IDMEC – the Institute of Mechanical Engineering of the Instituto Superior Técnico of the University of Lisbon (IDMEC/IST/UL).
The conference will take place at Lisbon’s centre HOTEL VIP EXECUTIVE ZURIQUE.
The main objective of the conference is to bring together academicians, engineers, scientists, researchers, mathematicians, and technologists devoting their work to wave mechanics and vibration-related problems in different areas of scientific and engineering applications on a common platform.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.
- Abstracts should review the main ideias and achivements to be presented.
- Full papers must be preceded by an accepted abstract.
- Posters must be preceded by an accepted abstract.
Abstract submissions are already opened in Easy Chair. The abstract body text is limited by 2200 characters (with spaces). Abstracts must be assigned to Mini-Symposia. If the topic of your contribution does not fit into any of the current Mini-Symposia, submit it as "other/general". The organizing committee will make appropriate attribution.
Templates for papers will available at the conference web site in due time.
