About ULAB
Formed in 2011, the Undergraduate Linguistics Association of Britain (ULAB) has brought together undergraduate students from all over the world in its annual conference nine times. The 10th annual conference of ULAB will take place the University of Edinburgh.
At the moment ULAB is the only organisation in Britain whose main goal is to bring linguistics discussions to undergraduate students and provide them with with the opportunity to present their work and showcase undergraduate research in language sciences and related firlends.
During the three days, undergraduate linguistics students from all over United Kingdom and beyond will present their research, get feedback, participate in discussions and attend various social and academically-orientated events. Interest in the conference has grown drastically over the years, demonstrating that ULAB fills a gap in the levels of linguistics networks.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original work which was completed or mostly completed during your undergraduate studies. All co-authors must also have been undergraduates at the time the work was carried out. This is contingent upon the fact that your undergraduate studies were completed no more than three years prior to submitting your abstract.
We accept abstracts from students all over the world! You don't have to be studying at a British University to apply, and we gladly welcome abstracts from further afield.
