The 22nd edition of ETRIA World Conference “TRIZ Future” invites the submission of original papers, posters, and best practices that combine systematic innovation, TRIZ, AI, and IT. The conference aims at linking organizations and individuals from the industry, research, and education worlds to share their experience on systematic innovation and promote TRIZ-based tools worldwide. It will provide an international forum to exchange new ideas on knowledge-based innovation, present recent achievements in this area, and strengthen collaboration between academic and industrial players.
Submission Guidelines
The submission process comprises three phases. First, the abstracts are submitted for evaluation, and the authors will be informed if the proposed subject, scope, and approach are considered appropriate for the conference. Please use the structured abstract form provided here. Then the full papers will be submitted and evaluated by at least two reviewers. If their recommendations are ambiguous, another reviewer will be involved to decide about paper acceptance, conditional acceptance, or rejection. Eventually, the final paper versions will be submitted, which must address the reviewers’ remarks. Please note that the papers may still be rejected at this stage if the reviewers will not confirm their conditional acceptance after receiving the revised versions.
The official conference language is English, and contributions in other languages will not be processed. All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The conference accepts three kinds of contributions, which will be included in the official conference program.
- Scientific papers report research with a scientific approach and implications. Their expected length is between 8 and 12 pages. Authors are expected to indicate the reasons justifying the intended exception from this rule. All the scientific papers will be indexed in Scopus and Web of Science upon publication in the Conference Proceedings, which requires a Consent to Publish form to be filled and signed in advance.
- Practitioners’ papers describe application examples of using TRIZ concepts and tools having technical or social implications. Their expected length is between 8 and 10 pages.
- Posters present planned or preliminary research activities, students’ works, and experiments pertinent to the conference profile.
Venue
The conference will be held in Warsaw, Poland. The event is hosted by the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology, Warsaw University of Technology.
