We are glad to announce that the European Network for Virtual lab & Interactive SImulated ONline learning_2027 (ENVISION 2027) will organize an online Conference in April 2023 focused on the learning analytics of practical and simulated learning, titled: 

“Technology-enhanced learning in laboratories” 

This online conference will be hosted by the University of Eastern Finland (UEF) and the University of Bergen (UiB), Norway. 

Focus and aims: 

• The conference aims to understand the global practices of virtual labs and simulated learning.
• The conference will focus on how technology can support education with its Learning Analytics and computer-supported applications. 
• The conference brings together researchers from different countries and various disciplinary traditions to present their research on virtual labs, remote learning, learning analytics, and computer-supported education, to discuss their use in learning support.

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:

• You can submit a) a full paper, or b) an abstract for oral presentation only. 
• All abstracts/papers should be written in English. 
• Please use the online system for your submission 
• The deadline for submission is February 15^th, 2023. All submissions will be peer-reviewed.

Submission types: 

1. A full paper (6-14 pages), which will be published in the CEUR Workshop Proceedings if accepted, or
2. An abstract (150-500 words) for oral presentation only. Oral presentation time will be 15 minutes plus discussion.

Timeline: 

• The deadline for abstract submission for papers and oral presentations is February 15^th, 2023. 
• The deadline for the full paper submission is March 25^th, 2023 . 
• The review board will review the papers, and a notice of acceptance will be sent to the corresponding author by 5^th April 2023.
