Submissions are invited for the SICSA 2022 PhD Conference. PhD students are invited to submit a 2-page abstract about their research area (please note that references are not part of the 2-page limit). This abstract can either be about their entire PhD programme or a highlight from one particular study. All students that submit to this will have their submission peer-reviewed and should present a poster of their work at the main SICSA PhD Conference.
Submission Guidelines
Papers should be submitted using the ACM Primary Article Template. Additional instructions for Word and LaTeX users are below
- LaTeX: Please use the standard ACM Primary Template which is available on the ACM Website and also as a template on Overleaf. The document should be set to sigconf layout and should be typeset to be non-acm. This can be achieved through the following \documentclass[sigconf,screen,nonacm]{acmart}
- Word: Please use the 2-Column ACM Template that is available on the ACM Website
Peer Review Process
Each author that submits an abstract will be asked to review two papers that have been submitted to the conference. Any author that does not complete their reviews will not be eligible to present their work at the SICSA PhD Conference.

Wednesday 1st June- Reviewers Contacted with Papers - Wednesday 15th June - Reviews Due
- Friday 17th May - Reviews sent to Authors
Presenting Your Paper at the Conference
All submissions will be invited to present their work at the SICSA PhD Conference as a research poster.
You have the full freedom to design your posters as no templates will be provided.
Posters must be printed on A0 size paper these must be Portrait only and NOT laminated. Landscape posters will not be accepted/exhibited. Each poster will be assigned a specific space in the exhibition hall that will be announced prior to the event. Attendees are responsible for printing their own posters and there are no facilities at the conference to print additional poster material.
