The Norwegian University of Science and Technology warmly welcomes you to the 44th Information Systems Research Seminar (IRIS) in Scandinavia and the 12th Scandinavian Conference on Information Systems (SCIS) which will take place in Orkanger, Norway in August 2021. Both events will be held in conjunction and share programme, venue, social events and keynotes. Attendees register for participation in both IRIS44 and SCIS12. While most participants are from the Nordic countries, we welcome researchers from all parts of the world to bring along other perspectives into the discussion.
We aim to have the conference in-person, however, the current situation makes it hard to predict if we can welcome you all physically in Orkanger. Both IRIS44 and SCIS12 will take place, the detailed modalities will be communicated closer to the actual conference (in-person, hybrid or virtual).
Submission Guidelines
SCIS12 invites full research papers within the conference theme as well as other areas of IS research. Both empirical and theoretical as well as methodological papers are welcome. Papers are subject to double-blind reviews.
SCIS proceedings will be published by the AIS (Association for the Information Systems) and its digital library.
Language: English (including American, British, Canadian, etc.) is the language of all submissions.
Originality: Submissions to SCIS12 must be original; submissions cannot have been published or accepted in a journal or conference proceedings, nor presented at another conference. Further, submissions must not be concurrently under consideration for publication or presentation elsewhere.
