Scientific Computing Day (SCD) is a symposium for fostering productive networking and promoting transdisciplinary collaborations among researchers at Georgia State University and its affiliates.
SCD provides researchers with a venue to present their groundbreaking research, brainstorm new ideas with colleagues, as well as learning today’s multidisciplinary computational challenges and state-of-the-art developments.
SCD organizing committee invites poster submission from the research community for the poster competition to be held on September 29th, 2022.
Submission Guidelines
All work must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following submission categories are welcome:
Posters
- Please submit an abstract for a poster by August 31th describing,
- computational methods
- significant results
- scientific merits
Please include the following information with all submissions
- Name of the PI
- All authors contributed to the work.
- College, Department
- Research area (please select https://www.nsf.gov/about/research_areas.jsp)
Note: Poster presentations for the Lightning talk(3 min) need to be submitted by September 23rd.
The maximum poster size is 36" x 48"
