RoPM-AM2017: 5th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON POWDER METALLURGY & ADVANCED MATERIALS Hotel T, Cluj-Napoca Cluj-Napoca, Romania, September 17-20, 2017

The aim of the RoPM-AM2017 conference is to offer a forum for scientists in the field of Materials Science and Engineering to discuss and promote advances in knowledge, research and practice in the field of the Powder Metallurgy and Advanced Materials (Processing and Technologies).

The International CONFERENCE ON POWDER METALLURGY AND ADVANCED MATERIALS, RoPM-AM2017, represents the joint of the traditional RoPM (INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON POWDER METALLURGY) and Matehn (INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MATERIALS AND MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGIES) conferences organized by Technical University of Cluj-Napoca.

The 4th International Conference on Powder Metallurgy, RoPM 2009, was held in Craiova from 8 to 11 July 2009. The Conference was organised by the Technical University of Cluj and Romanian Powder Metallurgy Associations in collaboration with University of Craiova and Vienna University of Technology, under the auspices of EPMA (European Powder Metallurgy Associations) and of Ministry of Education, Research and Innovation. Also, the 4th International Conference on Materials and Manufacturing Technologies, MATEHN’06, was held in Cluj-Napoca, Romania at Europa Conference Center, from 21 to 23 September 2006. The Conference has been organized by Technical University of Cluj and Romanian Ministry of Education and Research in collaboration with Romanian Academy of Technical Science.

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:

Full papers  and Posters describing: original research contributions, applications and experiences, surveys, comparisons, and state-of-the-art reports, tool or demo papers, position papers related to the topics mentioned above and work in progress papers.

The papers presented at the conference will be published after usual refereeing process in one of the following journals:

• Powder metallurgy (ISI-FI=0.741);
• Advance Materials Research TTP (Scopus);
• Acta Tehnica Napocensis (ISI indexed).

Venue

The Conference will be held from 17 to 20 September 2017 in Cluj-Napoca (in Hotel Univers T) , one of the most important cultural and industrial cities from Romania. Cluj-Napoca is situated in north-western part of Romania, in the heart of Transylvania, and has a very long history. There will be ample opportunities to discover picturesque spots, find traces of the past and admire architectural monuments.
