PLMSS2021: International Conference on Product Life cycle Modeling Simulation & Synthesis (PLMSS) - Space System Perspective Online mode hosted from Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre Thiruvananthapuram, India, December 17-18, 2021

Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) manages entire lifecycle of a product from its inception through its linkage to system engineering philosophy and forms a platform for design, development, manufacturing and operations. It is the mainstay of innovation driven industries. Product lifecycle Modelling, Simulation and Synthesis (PLMSS 2021) is a platform to exchange ideas and information about the latest PLM practises to achive product excellence. The intention of the conference is to unify R&D institutes, academic and industry to talk over novel methods, challenges and possibilities in PLM. The theme of PLMSS 2021 is Product Lifecycle - Space System Prespective. Space system development across the globe is undergoing a metamorphosis. Newer manufacturing technologies are making its entry into the sector once dominated by traditional techniques and methodologies. With the advent of Additive Manufacturing, IoT and Intelligent systems, a considerable transformation is taking place in the product development life cycle. Virtualisation in tandem with these solutions are revolutionizing the Space Industry. The conference aims to bring the community of scientist and engineers engaged in design and development of high technology systems to be part of this metamorphosis.

Submission Guidelines

Papers describing original research or an innovative application in any of the following topics or related areas are invited from prospective authors/participants. Extended abstracts shall be submitted with minimum 2 pages in A4 size and limited to maximum 8 pages. Full papers submitted for the conference will be reviewed and considered for their possible publication/presentation. All papers should be submitted electronically in MS Word format. Full Papers should be limited to 8 pages in A4 size, including figures and references and should contain unpublished original results. All papers will be reviewed by peer reviewers. Oral and poster presentations will be decided considering the recommendations of reviewers and the technical committee.

Publication

E-Proceedings of the conference containing the full-length papers and souvenir containing the extended abstract of all papers will be made available to the registered participants. Efforts are being made to publish selected number of full length papers in leading Journal of repute. Best paper and poster shall be awarded during the conference. 

Venue

The conference will be conducted in online mode and hosted from Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, Trivandrum. Authors selected for oral or poster presentations will be required to record the presentation material in video fomat as per the procedure give in the website https://plmss.org.in/plmss-2021/ and send to us. The recorded presentations will be shared in the online meeting and Live Q&A session will be conducted immediately after each presentation for 2-3 minutes and authors should be available online for the same. The presentation duration of oral presentation in 10 minutes and that for the poster presentation is 5 minutes.
