CFPs & Important Dates
The ACM PEARC (Practice & Experience in Advanced Research Computing) Conference Series is the premier community-driven annual forum for discussing challenges, opportunities, best practices, and solutions among the broad range of participants in the research computing community. The PEARC26 Technical Program Committee (TPC) invites you to submit proposals for the ACM PEARC26 Conference, which will be held from July 26-30, 2026, at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The theme of the PEARC26 conference, Resilient Roots, Empowered Communities, recognizes the work already accomplished within the advanced Research Computing and Data (RCD) community and appreciates the broad community engagement while looking toward the future. Following the conference theme, the PEARC26 TPC is reimagining the three technical tracks and introducing a special edition track to further empower the PEARC community. The technical paper tracks for PEARC26 are:
- Applications: Scientific Impact, Deployments, and Workflows
- Systems: Infrastructure and Middleware
- Workforce Development: Education, Training, Community, and Leadership
- Research Software Engineering: People, Practice, and Impact
Submissions may address any topic of relevance to the advanced research computing and data community. While not required, authors are encouraged to submit work related to the conference theme, Resilient Roots, Empowered Communities.
The PEARC26 welcomes submissions across a range of tracks, allowing participants from all career stages (including students) and from all RCD and RCD-adjacent roles. In addition to technical paper submissions to the four tracks described above, submissions to the following are also welcome:
- Workshops and Tutorials
- Panels and Birds-of-a-Feather Sessions (BoFs)
- Posters and Visualization Showcases
- Presentation-only Abstracts
Authors should plan for onsite delivery of their presentations.
Please review Submission Guidelines and the ACM Authorship Policy before submitting your final work.

Full and Short Paper Authors:
Please use the links below to submit your paper to the appropriate PEARC26 track or session. Each link will take you directly to the detailed Call for Participation (CPF) and submission guidelines. Be sure to carefully review the CPF for your selected track before submitting, so you can confirm that your work aligns with the track’s scope, expectations, and formatting requirements.
We also encourage all authors to review the PEARC26 Important Dates page to ensure your submission timeline aligns with conference deadlines:https://pearc.acm.org/pearc26/important-dates/
Submit for Tutorial or Workshop: Hands-on, skills-focused sessions that deepen participant knowledge in advanced research computing and emerging technologies. Designed to foster practical learning and community collaboration.
Submit for Track 1: Applications: Highlights innovative software and computational approaches that enable domain research at scale. Submissions should demonstrate applied impact and real-world problem solving.
Submit for Track 2: Systems: Focuses on building, managing, securing, and optimizing advanced research computing systems. Ideal for practical experience, case studies, and innovations in infrastructure and middleware.
Submit for Track 3: Workforce Development: Showcases effective strategies for education, training, leadership, and community building across the RCD profession. Emphasis on inclusive practices and workforce growth.
Submit for RSE Special track: Centers on the people, methods, and practices of research software engineering. Submissions should advance understanding and improvement of RSE techniques and workflows.
Submit for Panel or Birds-of-a-Feather: Panels feature moderated discussions among experts offering diverse perspectives. BoFs are highly interactive community sessions for exchanging ideas and exploring shared challenges.
Submit for Poster or Visualization: Posters present concise research updates or in-progress work in a visual format. Visualizations showcase compelling, often interactive, representations of data or research results.
Submit for Presentation-only Abstracts: A flexible option for sharing early ideas, lessons learned, or work outside traditional paper tracks. Welcomes contributions from all RCD community members.
Submit for In Conjunction with Events: Mission-aligned meetings held during PEARC26 that require registration and adherence to ACM policies. Proposals are evaluated for relevance and community benefit.
