Achieving the sustainable development goals as proposed by the United Nations is among the grand challenges that presume transformations in business and society. Amplified by the increasing digitization and availability of data, the relevance of innovative business models and their successful implementation in dynamic ecosystems is growing in this process. The NaWerSys-workshop seeks to foster data-driven, digital business models and their integration to move towards more sustainability and provides a platform for both academia and practice to discuss methodological aspects (e.g., tools and methods for the design of business models and dynamic ecosystems) and exemplary initiatives (e.g., case studies and specific business models for ecological and social sustainability).
Illustrative topics - but not limited to include:
- Design and evaluation of data-driven, digital business models for environmental/social sustainability
- Design and implementation of data-driven business models in ecosystems (e.g., modelling, simulation, assessment)
- Ethics and the role of humans in data-driven ecosystems
- (Smart) Product Service-Systems for environmental/social sustainability (e.g., interdisciplinary design, design for variety)
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference (see www.smarthybrid.digital/nawersys for formatting guidelines).

- Full papers (14 pages)
- Short papers (6 pages)
- Other concepts/forms of contribution (please write an email with your idea to the commitee)
