NATO CAX FORUM 2024

The NATO CA2X2 Forum, organized by the NATO M&S Centre of Excellence, has become one of NATO’s main events on CAX and M&S for many years. The NATO CA2X2 Forum is an event where Military, Industry, Academia, Study Groups and Subject Matter Experts meet yearly to discuss M&S related topics. It is the premiere international discussion environment for the design, planning and usage of M&S for defence related purposes.

The 19th Edition of the NATO Computer Assisted Analysis, eXercise, eXperimentation (CA2X2) Forum 2024 will be in person and hosted at the Ergife Palace Hotel & Conference Center, Rome, Italy, 24-26 September 2024.

The 2023 edition, held in person, received more than 300 registrations from 31 Nations and hosted over 70 sessions ranging from Wargaming to Cyber for M&S led by the community’s subject matter experts.  In addition, our exhibition area featured current and future M&S technologies from a diverse group of industry partners. Note 1: The main speaker, identified as the presenter in EasyChair, is exempt from the fee. Co-authors/presenters should register as a participant.

Note 2: Once your abstract is approved you will receive the dedicated link to register as the main speaker.

Theme

This year’s theme is “Enabling Multi-Domain Operations through Modelling & Simulation”, in line with the priorities ratified by Supreme Allied Command Transformation for 2024.

Below are also reported the main tracks:

1. M&S Towards a Data Centric Approach and Technological Advantage;
2. M&S Towards MDO Education & Training​;
3. Commercial Technology. 

Call for abstracts, presentations, papers.

The NATO M&S COE kindly requests all interested experts, authors, and presenters to submit abstracts, presentations, papers (optional), and articles in line with the Forum’s topics to be evaluated by members of NATO CA2X2 Forum Technical Program Committee.

Authors of approved abstracts will be asked to prepare a presentation (+ papers & articles in pdf format (optional)), then to present it during the NATO CA2X2 Forum. Selected papers will be published at the CA2X2 Forum 2024 Publication in early 2025 (optional).

List of topics

Companies, organisations, study groups, teams, students and experts are also invited to propose and support sessions/activities on specific M&S topics. The sessions/activities proposed by the M&S Community of Interest encompass presentations, round tables, interviews, workshops, demos, courses, and others. Your proposal will be evaluated and, if feasible, conveniently embedded in the even.
