THE 83rd PIChE NATIONAL CONVENTION

The Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers (PIChE) will hold its 83rd National Convention with the theme "ChE Unlocked: Exploring Specializations in Addressing Global Challenges" on September 14 to 16, 2022, hosted by the PIChE - Bataan Chapter. The event will be on hybrid arrangement: face-to-face set-up will be held at Laus Group Event Centre in San Fernando City, Pampanga while online participation will take place in a virtual platform in partnership with Global-Link.

The annual convention brings together more than a thousand Filipino Chemical Engineers and other stakeholders from the industry, government, and academe across the country and abroad. Aside from continuing professional development, the convention aims to build camaraderie and networks among participants.

Theme: "ChE Unlocked: Exploring Specializations in Addressing Global Challenges"

Being a diverse discipline, Chemical Engineering covers a wide variety of specializations, each dedicated to a specific technology or practice. The theme of the 83rd PIChE National Convention will focus on different specializations of Chemical Engineering and how these sub-disciplines address relevant global challenges which also enabled mobility of Filipino Chemical Engineers internationally.

Plenary Session Topics

Plenary sessions are set of discourses during the convention offering broader range of content, from keynotes to panel discussions, that are joined by all participants. The topics of plenary sessions fit closely with the convention theme which features the following wide variety of Chemical Engineering specializations and sub-disciplines:

Submission Guidelines

The procedure for submission is the following:

1. Create an EasyChair account, if you do not have one yet.
2. Follow the submission link from the conference Web site or publicity materials.
3. Log in.
4. Click on "New Submission"
5. Fill out the submission form and click on "Submit".

All submissions will be reviewed by the technical team. Once approved, participants will receive an email confirmation with detailed instructions on how to further proceed.
