NASSLLI 2022 @ USC
Student Session - Call for Abstracts
The North American Summer School for Logic, Language, and Information (NASSLLI) encourages students to submit abstracts for the Student Session of its 2022 edition. NASSLLI is the pre-eminent summer school for intensive pedagogy bridging research within and across linguistics, logic, and computer science. It draws graduate students and advanced undergraduates from across the country and around the world, with 150-200 participants expected. The 2022 edition of NASSLLI will be held June 18-24 at the University of Southern California, in Los Angeles. More information in https://ml-la.github.io/nasslli2022/.
Abstracts can be in any topic within language, logic or information, or any intersections thereof. The maximum length is two pages, excluding references and figures. Submissions must use a 12pt font and 1-inch margins. No particular template is required for submission, but students familiar with creating abstracts in the format of computer science conferences may find this LaTeX template useful. Co-authored submissions are welcome. Authors may appear in no more than one submission.
The best eight abstracts will be selected for 20-minute presentations at the Student Session, where students will have a chance to receive feedback and questions from an audience with some of the most relevant and well-regarded scholars in their field of interest.
Two of the selected abstracts will receive the NASSLLI Student Award.
