The Multimodal Sediment Disasters Network (its acronym is MSD-Network) was established on 8-9 March 2010, membered by various countries including Indonesia, Japan, Taiwan. Since then, the international workshop on multimodal sediment disasters has been conducted every year, moving from one to another country and joined by other countries like Nepal, Malaysia, and Bhutan. The last international workshop was conducted at the Mie University of Japan in 2019. The year of 2019 has been a momentum that the network runner would shift into the younger generation. Since the pandemic of COVID-19 at the beginning of 2020, the MSD-Network activities were then conducted more online rather than offline. It should be realized that such a situation remains uncertain when it would stop. However, the spirit of the network shall continue. On behalf of the network, we cordially invite the members, particularly the young researchers, to participate in the Mini Work on Sediment Multimodal Disaster 2021 (MWMSD-2021), to be conducted in Yogyakarta, Indonesia on Tuesday 6 July 2021 at 15.30-17.00. The theme of the workshop is Reservoir Sedimentation: Various Challenges in Asia Pacific Region.
Submission (abstract only) Guidelines

Each abstract should contain 200-250 words of a research collaboration plan that would be carried out during the following months after the workshop.
