Call for contributions to the theme Faith, Science and Development.
The issue of science and religion has always been presented as antagonistic concepts. One is seen as a development factor and the other as inhibiting innovation initiatives. In fact, faith was evacuated early academic disciplines and relegated to retrograde forces to science and development. However, if man is made in the center of development, then it should be put at the heart of the analysis, the first species of human that is, its environment, culture and beliefs. Science has often given an appearance of solidity and confidence, while religious faith seems to have lost ground to the same scientific knowledge. It is very very important that science plays its role as a scout and that faith assigns to science its rightful place. Implicitly, science and faith have the same purpose, to show the truth. So this truth frees consequently led to progress in other words development. It is in this sense that we base the assumption that faith and science are complementary.
A look at the performance of some regions nowadays seen with desolation they are still plagued many development problems, they struggle to cope adequately so the most basic needs of people. Yet they have many assets to meet the expectations of its inhabitants!
