ISPEC 2020: The 1st International Symposium on Power, Energy and Cybernetics 2020 Hanoi University of Science and Technology Hanoi, Viet Nam, December 18-19, 2020

Aim and Scope

The International Symposium on Power, Energy, and Cybernetics (ISPEC) is an initiative to connect students, researchers, and engineers all over the world who are studying, researching and working on the fields of Power, Energy, and Control. It is intended to be organized annually for scholars to share their wisdom and visions in the related fields.

This year, the 1^st International Symposium on Power, Energy, and Cybernetics 2020 (ISPEC 2020) is hosted by Vietnam Automation Association. It is held on December 18-19, 2020 as a two-day, virtual academic event aiming to attract original research papers and short letters in various topics in the fields. The scope covers recent cutting-edge technologies and applications in power electronics, electric drives, power systems, control, robotics, etc.

Submission Guidelines

The following paper categories are welcomed:

• Regular papers should be at least four pages length describing original research works and are not being considered for publication elsewhere. All accepted regular papers will be promoted to the Special Issue on Measurement, Control, and Automation after presented at ISPEC 2020 and benefit a discount of 50% of the regular publication charge.
• Short papers should not be longer than two pages summarizing the research works. The previously published papers can be considered for this type, however, originality is recommended. This type of paper will NOT be published after the conference.

Potential authors are recommended to submit an extended abstract for peer review regardless of what type of the submitting paper is. The extended abstract should be presented in two pages or less, single column, single-spaced on A4 sized format including figures, tables, and references. Times New Roman font with the size of at least 11pt should be used. Number all Digest pages. Digests should be submitted as the Adobe Acrobat PDF file (*.pdf). Please do not indicate authors' names and affiliations on the extended abstracts for peer review.

Accepted papers must be written in English and must follow the IEEE conference paper format which can be found at https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html.
