The third ISEA International Conference on Security and Privacy (ISEA-ISAP 2020) will be held in Guwahati, Assam, India on the beautiful campus of IIT Guwahati. The conference will feature a comprehensive high quality technical program, Doctoral Dissertation Award, a variety of tutorials and PhD forum. Top three best papers and dissertations will be awarded prize money. ISEA-ISAP 2020 will include keynotes and invited talks from prominent researchers from academia and industry. All selected papers will be submitted for publication in IEEE Xplore (Conference record #49340).
The conference is sponsored by Information Security and Education Awareness Project – Phase II (ISEA-II), Ministry of Electronics and IT, Govt. of India. The technical sponsor is IEEE Kolkata Section.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- REGULAR / SHORT PAPERS: Submissions are invited for regular/short papers. The papers should be in double-columned IEEE format. The page length of regular and short papers should be no more than 10 pages and 6 pages respectively (including abstract, figures, references etc). Paper submitted to the conference will undergo a double-blind review.
The top three best papers will be awarded prize money of Rs 25 K, Rs 15 K and Rs 10K respectively. All selected papers will be submitted for publication in IEEE Xplore (Conference record #49340).
Paper submission deadline extended to 2 Dec 2019 (final).
Both regular and short papers will have equal weight during consideration for acceptance as well as award selection.
- DOCTORAL DISSERTATION AWARD: Submissions of dissertations are invited from doctoral students who have carried out their research in India, in the area of security. The dissertation should have been submitted between 1-Mar-2015 to 31-Dec-2019. Top three thesis will be awarded prize money of Rs. 50 K, Rs. 30 K and Rs. 20 K respectively.
The following documents need to be submitted - filled up application form (to be downloaded from website), softcopy of the dissertation, proof of thesis submission and two recommendation letters (one from PhD thesis supervisor). All these documents should be sent as a single zip file to iseaisap2020@gmail.com.

- TUTORIALS: Proposals are invited for half- or full-day tutorials in all security and privacy topics
Tutorial submission deadline extended to 2 Dec 2019 (final).
- PHD FORUM: A three page extended abstract submission is invited from graduate students (Master’s and PhD) to showcase early-stage research.
