This edition of INTRICATE-SEC is centered on Data Privacy and Protection on the web, and will be held in conjunction with the 34th International Conference on Advanced Information Networking and Applications (AINA-2020)
The focus of this edition of INTRICATE-SEC is on issues related to the design of data privacy solutions that comply with data privacy legislation such as the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and US Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Both legislations, provide a legal framework for processing personally identifiable information (PII) in ways that ensure that consumer data privacy is accorded a more central role, in data collection and analysis. Preprocessing data to ensure compliance with data protection legislation requires considering data protection not only from the technical perspective but also from the social one.
To this end, in the edition of INTRICATE-SEC we are intereested in both technical papers (algorithmic designs, theory and applications), and in papers that address social issues related to data protection on the web (Internet).
